Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Phoenix, AZ to perform critical technical and mechanical tasks that keep buildings, grounds, and amenities clean, safe, and functional. You will diagnose issues, execute preventative maintenance, and manage resident work orders end-to-end.

You will lead make-ready tasks for vacant units, perform pre-move-out inspections, compile punch lists, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• Essential responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance in accordance with safety standards.
• Make-ready processes for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain records, inventory, and documentation to track service requests and materials.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins with inspections, punch lists, and scheduling.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests to enable accurate tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed; supports cost-saving by using parts when possible.
• Complies with safety policies and attends training; may inspect contractor work to ensure quality.
