Job summary

Greystar in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across building systems and common areas. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and ensure safety and code compliance.

You will also prepare vacants for leasing, manage inventory, document tasks, and support cost‑saving initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible. This is a full‑time onsite role with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes-ready vacant units by performing pre-move-in tasks, inspecting, and coordinating needed repairs.
• Tracks materials, supplies, and equipment; notifies supervisor for re-ordering as needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
