Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure physical aspects of buildings, grounds and amenities meet company standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. Responsibilities include completing work orders, make‑ready tasks for vacant units, inventory tracking, and routine inspections.

Essential duties cover servicing equipment, preventive maintenance, and documentation while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventive maintenance on the property per policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Completes the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch list, scheduling vendors, and obtaining supplies.
• Tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies maintenance supervisor about re‑ordering needs.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and debris removal.
• Supports cost‑cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools correctly.
