Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 in the United States, NC region to ensure optimal performance of high-speed manufacturing equipment. This role demands advanced troubleshooting, autonomy, and mentoring of junior technicians.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and contribute to continuous improvement while complying with FDA GMP ISO standards. Proximity to cross-functional teams and strong documentation in the CMMS are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of advanced maintenance experience in electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience with FDA GMP ISO environments preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and prints.
• PLCs, electrical and controls experience.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on complex equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement improvements.
• Mentor entry-level technicians.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO standards.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime.
