Job summary

bioMérieux in Cary, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician 3 to ensure optimal performance of manufacturing equipment. You will perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and mentor entry-level technicians.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance with FDA GMP ISO standards, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to minimize downtime. PLC-reading and electro-mechanical expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience with intermediate to advanced troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical/controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis efforts to prevent recurring equipment issues.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols.
• Utilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
