Job summary

bioMérieux seeks a Maintenance Technician 3 to ensure optimal performance of high-speed manufacturing equipment at our Apex, NC facility. This role emphasizes advanced troubleshooting, independent repairs, and continuous improvement, with mentoring responsibilities for junior technicians.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, analyze root causes, and participate in cross-functional efforts to reduce downtime while complying with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED, with 3+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years in electro-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with FDA, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols.
• Utilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
