Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 in Butner, NC to ensure optimal performance of high‑speed manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot complex electro‑mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives on a 24/7 schedule.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, with strong problem-solving skills and PLC/readiness. A related associate degree is preferred, and the site operates under cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of related experience with intermediate to advanced troubleshooting, schematic reading, and hands-on mechanical/electrical/controls work.
• Must be able to read schematics/prints and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems.
• Experience in cGMP/regulated environments and knowledge of ladder logic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
• Mentor entry-level technicians and drive continuous improvement projects.
