Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to ensure optimal performance of manufacturing equipment. This role requires advanced troubleshooting, complex repairs, and mentoring of junior technicians in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams while adhering to FDA/GMP/ISO standards. Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience with advanced troubleshooting and reading schematics.
• Experience reading ladder logic and repairing PLCs, electrical and control systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Ensure maintenance complies with FDA, GMP, ISO standards and safety protocols.
• Maintain records in the CMMS and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
