Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to ensure optimal performance of our high-speed manufacturing equipment in a 24/7 operation. You will perform advanced diagnostics, execute complex repairs, and mentor junior technicians, contributing to continuous improvement and strict quality standards.

You will work in a regulated environment with strong emphasis on safety, data accuracy in CMMS, and cross-functional collaboration to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years experience; advanced troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and controls.
• Experience reading schematics and prints; strong electro-mechanical maintenance background.
• Desirable: experience in cGMP/Regulated environments; ability to read ladder logic and troubleshoot PLCs; proficient in MS Office and email tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Mentor and guide entry-level technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to boost reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with FDA, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols.
• Utilize and maintain records in CMMS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Perform work in accordance with quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
