Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to manage advanced repair and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment at our facility. The role requires strong troubleshooting, independent work on mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, and mentoring of junior staff.

The position emphasizes continuous improvement, adherence to regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, ISO), and precise record-keeping in CMMS. Strong problem-solving and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electro-mechanical maintenance with troubleshooting.
• Experience reading schematics, prints, and control diagrams.
• Background with electro-mechanical, high-speed manufacturing systems.
• Able to read ladder logic and troubleshoot PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Utilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems.
