Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to lead shift operations, troubleshoot automated systems, and ensure equipment reliability in a highly automated facility for a major client in the United States.

The role includes mentoring technicians and coordinating with automation support teams. You will support critical building systems, manage preventative maintenance, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required? (note: not explicit; itemized as a must-have in role)
• Associate's or higher in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
• Experience with automated conveyors and controls is essential.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics; reading electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs and training.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Cultivate relationships with client and operations teams.
• Promote safe working environment by following procedures.
