Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish, with authority to dispatch internal techs or third parties.

You will resolve complex maintenance issues affecting uptime for Ryder lease and contract vehicles while guiding Tier 1 teams and drivers. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Ryder shop environments, strong diagnostics, and the ability to communicate in English (Spanish preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 5+ years in Ryder operations (shop) environment or equivalent.
• 2+ years in Ryder operations customer service exposure.
• 4+ years in transportation maintenance.
• 2+ years in diagnostic and customer resolution exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide whether to dispatch internal technicians or third-party services.
• Resolve mechanical/electrical issues in Ryder fleet vehicles.
• Provide status updates and training to Tier 1 call center team.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to drivers and dispatchers.
