Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish. The role involves deciding whether to dispatch internal technicians or third parties, and resolving complex vehicle issues to improve uptime.

This position requires extensive maintenance know-how, strong diagnostics, and the ability to train and mentor others while communicating clearly with customers and drivers in English (Spanish preferred).

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 5+ years working in Ryder shop environment preferred.
• 2+ years Ryder operations customer service exposure preferred.
• 4+ years transportation maintenance required.
• 2+ years diagnostic and customer resolution exposure required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and remedy vehicle roadside breakdowns with full autonomy over cost decisions.
• Assist with follow ups and escalations with RCRC agents and leadership.
• Provide updated technical knowledge and training materials to the maintenance team.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center teammates and provide status updates.
