Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish. You’ll determine whether to dispatch an internal technician or a third party and work to resolve vehicle issues on Ryder lease or contract assets.

This role emphasizes analytical problem solving and strong maintenance knowledge to minimize downtime for customers. Responsibilities include coordinating with RCRC, providing updates to the maintenance team,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in Ryder operations shop environment preferred.
• Two+ years in Ryder customer service exposure preferred.
• Four+ years in transportation maintenance.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide when to dispatch internal technicians or third parties.
• Resolve vehicle maintenance issues via telephonic support with customers in breakdown.
• Provide updates and training to Tier 1 and maintenance teams.
