Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Newark, NJ to lead maintenance operations for residential communities. You will supervise technicians, coordinate training, and ensure timely repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances while upholding safety standards.

You will oversee make-ready processes, preventative maintenance, and vendor relations, driving cost-effective improvements. A strong safety mindset and excellent communication are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• HVAC, EPA, or NATE certification required or preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience and team development.
• Experience maintaining building systems and service tickets.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, uphold Bozzuto values and culture.
• Manage recruiting, coaching and on‑the‑job training for techs and associates.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues.
• Oversee make-ready and turnover to ensure timely leases.
• Maintain preventative maintenance to protect property value.
• Ensure safety codes and accident-free operation.
• Lead capital improvements and vendor management within budget.
