Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Jersey City to lead maintenance teams and oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs. You will drive make-ready processes, ensure safety and code compliance, and manage preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in facilities/residential building maintenance
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification
• Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS
• Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships
• Comfort with on-call emergency coverage

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and model Bozzuto's core values
• Hire, develop and coach techs and community care staff
• Respond to residents with timely follow-up on service tickets
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues
• Oversee make-ready and turnover processes to lease units
• Run preventative maintenance programs and inspections
• Maintain building safety, codes and 24/7 emergency coverage
• Manage capital improvements and vendor relations within budget
