Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations across the property under the Community Manager. You will perform repairs in resident units and lead make-ready activities to prepare apartments for new tenants.

Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, maintaining systems, and ensuring timely service requests. English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus, with a high emphasis on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time apartment maintenance experience.
• English communication required; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification is required for the role.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform make-ready prep for units prior to occupancy.
• Replace filters and HVAC components; repair plumbing/electrical as needed.
• Maintain and repair sprinkler systems, pools, and common areas.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with the Community Manager.
• Inspect and refurbish apartments and perform preventive maintenance.
