Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance professional responsible for the overall maintenance of the property under the direction of the Community Manager. The role includes making-ready units, repairs in resident apartments, and supervising maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• English communication skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling and recovery.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance.
• Ability to travel within major metropolitan areas; possible overnight stays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Replace filters and clean HVAC vents; maintain systems.
• Repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Refurbish apartments prior to resident occupancy (make-ready).
• Maintain pools, grounds, and common areas; supervise subcontractors.
