Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee property maintenance and supervise tasks in resident units, make-ready, and common areas. The role reports to the Community Manager and requires hands-on skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventive maintenance.

You will manage work orders, supervise subcontractors, ensure safety and inventory, and participate in inspections to keep the property in top condition and ready for occupancy.

Qualifications

• At least two years of full-time apartment maintenance or related trade experience.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling and basic HVAC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Replace filters and clean HVAC vents as needed.
• Maintain sprinkler systems and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• Repair damaged fixtures, glass, tile, and finishes in units.
• Oversee make-ready processes and move-in inspections.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
