Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee property maintenance under the Community Manager. Responsibilities include repairs in resident apartments, make-ready preparations, and supervising subcontractors to ensure timely, safe, and compliant work orders.

The role requires at least two years in apartment maintenance or related trades, English communication proficiency, and EPA certification. A valid driver’s license and basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time apartment maintenance experience or a related trade is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential; Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification required; own basic hand tools; valid driver’s license with reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist in make-ready preparations and unit refurbishing prior to occupancy.
• Replace filters and clean HVAC vents; perform HVAC repairs as needed.
• Maintain sprinkler systems and perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Inspect and repair fixtures, appliances, doors, windows, and finishes; supervise subcontractors.
