Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee property maintenance and perform repairs in resident apartments. You will ensure timely service, make-ready units for occupancy, and supervise subcontractors under the Community Manager's direction.

The role requires at least two years of maintenance experience, strong communication in English, basic hand tools, and a valid driver’s license. ADA accommodations are offered and apply for reasonable assistance.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time apartment maintenance or equivalent trade experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist in making-ready units for rent, including refurbishing interiors.
• Replace filters, maintain HVAC, and perform light electrical/plumbing repairs.
• Repair fixtures, appliances, and finishes (glass, tile, carpet, doors, etc.).
• Assist in custodial work and grounds maintenance.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate work orders.
• Order supplies and manage stock; maintain records.
