Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee maintenance and repairs across the property. You will perform unit make-readies, HVAC and plumbing tasks, and supervise subcontractors under the Community Manager's direction.

With at least two years in apartment maintenance, you will handle preventive maintenance, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks, plus keep records. A valid license, tool kit, and EPA certification are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and insurance.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform make-ready tasks to refurbish apartments for occupancy.
• Replace filters and service HVAC and electrical components.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, carpentry, and painting as needed.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain property cleanliness and safety in common areas.
