Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to manage overall property maintenance under the Community Manager. You will perform repairs in resident apartments and assist with preparing units for rent (make-ready). Qualifications

• At least two years of full‑time apartment maintenance experience or a related trade requiring basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel and work some weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform make-ready duties to prepare units for occupancy.
• Replace filters and clean HVAC vents; maintain sprinkler systems.
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed.
• Supervise subcontractors and manage maintenance supplies and records.
• Assist in inspections and move-in/move-out activities.
