Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Senior Mainframe Capacity & Performance Engineer to lead performance optimization across the enterprise mainframe environment. Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise IBM mainframe environments
• 5+ years in capacity planning, performance engineering
• 3+ years analyzing utilization trends and forecasting capacity
• 3+ years monitoring mainframe performance tools
• 2+ years Excel reporting and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize enterprise mainframe resource utilization, performance, and capacity
• Conduct capacity planning, forecasting, and real‑time diagnostics to identify bottlenecks
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, and systems teams to troubleshoot performance issues
• Deliver utilization reports and capacity recommendations for investments and upgrades
• Provide technical leadership for testing, QA, production support, and on‑call incident response
