Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise IBM mainframe environments (z/OS).
• 5+ years capacity planning and performance engineering in large-scale environments.
• 3+ years analyzing utilization trends and forecasting capacity.
• 3+ years using enterprise mainframe monitoring tools to resolve bottlenecks.
• 2+ years using Microsoft Excel for advanced reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize mainframe resource utilization and capacity across z/OS environments.
• Lead capacity planning, forecasting, trend analysis, and real-time diagnostics.
• Identify high-resource consumers and implement optimization to improve efficiency and reduce MIPS.
• Develop utilization reports, performance assessments, and capacity recommendations for investments and upgrades.
• Provide technical leadership for testing, QA, incident response, and on-call performance support.
