Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise IBM mainframe environments (z/OS).
• 5+ years in capacity planning, performance engineering, and production troubleshooting.
• 3+ years forecasting capacity and workload optimization.
• 3+ years using enterprise monitoring tools to diagnose bottlenecks.
• 2+ years advanced Excel reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize mainframe resource utilization and capacity.
• Perform capacity planning, trend analysis, and real‑time diagnostics.
• Identify high‑resource consumers and implement optimizations to reduce MIPS.
• Provide utilization reports and capacity recommendations for investments.
• Lead on‑call performance support during production events.
