Job summary

Ensono seeks a Data Center Operations Analyst to monitor and manage MVS/VM/VSE environments, ensuring production processing meets client SLAs. You will handle shift turnovers, incident documentation, and changes, while collaborating with internal/external customers and adhering to ITSM practices.

The role is onsite in Morrisville, NC with potential relocation support. Strong mainframe knowledge and proactive communication are essential for success in a fast-paced client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage internal and external MVS zSeries and VM/VSE environments to ensure production processing meets client SLAs
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers
• Complete daily shift turnover and client checklists with written and verbal turnover
• Document deviations in Incident Management tool with clear details
• Escape events or incidents that may impact service levels
• Ensure IPL, maintenance and backups are performed as scheduled
• Document and approve changes in Change Management tool; close changes with data
• Follow processing procedures and contribute to knowledge base
• Organize tasks and provide hands-on support as needed
• Communicate to stakeholders during critical events
