Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in DB2 administration and systems programming
- Experience with configuring and managing DB2 in a parallel sysplex environment
- Ability to develop strategies and best practices in software management
- Experience with DB2 security reviews and DR planning
- Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure
Responsibilities
- Provide premium DB2 sysprog support and services to Ensono mainframe clients
- Perform DB2 software upgrades, administration, and tuning
- Maintain backups, restores, and DR procedures
- Monitor database performance and optimize configurations
- Participate in on-call responsibilities across time zones
- Support customer migrations and 24x7x365 service
- Collaborate with vendor personnel to resolve issues
- Adhere to ITSM change control procedures
