Ensono seeks a Mainframe Systems Programmer – DB2 for premium DB2 sysprog support to mainframe clients. The role involves DB2 upgrades, administration, tuning, backups, restores, and performance analysis on z/OS environments.

You will collaborate with vendor personnel to resolve incidents and ensure smooth DB2 operations across 24x7 with on-call rotations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DB2 administration and SMP/e, experience with parallel sysplex, and strong communication skills to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of DB2 administration and systems programming experience.
• Knowledge of software management, maintenance and documentation.
• SMP/e experience.
• Experience with configuring DB2 in a parallel sysplex environment.
• Ability to develop strategies and best practices in software management.
• Experience with DB2 security requests and reviewing security for risks.
• Ability to review and tune DB2 buffer pools and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Provide premium DB2 sysprog support and services for Ensono mainframe clients.
• Perform DB2 software upgrades, administration and tuning.
• Work with vendor personnel to resolve database issues.
• Day-to-day DB2 maintenance: backups, restores, monitoring, reorganizations.
• Support 24x7x365 operations across multiple time zones and on-call rotations.
• Assist migration and DR plan execution with projects and customers.
• Adhere to ITSM change control procedures.
