Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional DB2 administration and systems programming.
- Knowledgeable in software management, maintenance and documentation.
- Experience with DB2 in parallel sysplex environment.
- Ability to develop innovations and best practices for DB2.
- Experience with database security, DR and performance tuning.
- Strong communication and multi-client support capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support DB2 services and customization.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities.
- Fulfill CSOs for mainframe DB2 customers.
- Provide primary support for DB2 tablespaces.
- Offer 24x7x365 support across time zones.
- Assist migrations of new customers and DR planning.
- Adhere to ITSM change control procedures.
