In this role, you will partner with development, operations, and database teams, drive MIPS reduction initiatives, and contribute to long-range capacity planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise IBM mainframe environments (z/OS).
• 3+ years capacity planning and performance engineering.
• 2+ years using mainframe monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize mainframe resource utilization across z/OS.
• Provide capacity forecasts and performance diagnostics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement optimizations.
• Lead in on-call rotation and incident response.
