Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Mainframe with 7+ years of experience in MQ, mainframe technologies, and Healthcare Claims processing. Lead the design, development, support, and optimization of MQ-based messaging solutions and Claims applications while partnering with onsite and offshore teams.

You will develop, test, and maintain mainframe Claims applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor offshore staff, and ensure compliance with standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with mainframe technologies including CICS and MQ.
• Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and related workflows.
• Strong knowledge of code migration and release management.
• Experience with package creation and code promotion across environments.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical solutions for Claims applications.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe Claims applications using CICS and MQ.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, PMs, and support teams to ensure project success.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor offshore team members.
• Coordinate onsite-offshore activities and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-implementation activities.
