Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Mainframe professional with 7+ years of experience in MQ, mainframe technologies, and Healthcare Claims processing. The role involves leading design, development, and optimization of MQ-based messaging solutions and Claims applications, partnering with onsite and offshore teams.

Responsibilities include code reviews, production support, and collaboration with analysts, QA, PMs, and support teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in MQ, mainframe technologies, and healthcare claims processing.
Experience with code migration, release management, and environment promotion.
Experience with Agile development environments and offshore/on-site coordination.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, support, and optimization of MQ-based messaging solutions.
Develop mainframe Claims applications using CICS and MQ.
Collaborate with analysts, QA, PMs, and support teams to ensure project success.
Provide technical leadership and mentor offshore team members; coordinate onsite-offshore activities.
Serve as a point of contact for technical issue resolution.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-implementation activities.
