Job summary

Agero in the United States is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance our ML initiatives, developing and deploying algorithms that boost operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will own end-to-end ML projects, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior engineers while staying current with new techniques to keep Agero at the forefront of digital driver assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development and design.
• 3-5 years experience with machine learning systems.
• 5+ years experience with Python (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD.
• Experience with tree-based models, DVC, Airflow and/or SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ML models and algorithms to optimize operations and service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Lead the full lifecycle of ML projects from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure best practices in ML, including model evaluation, validation, and monitoring.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in ML applications and processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay abreast of advancements in ML to recommend improvements.
