Job summary

Agero is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance our ML initiatives, developing and deploying cutting-edge algorithms to enhance operations and customer satisfaction. You will design models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead ML projects end-to-end.

You will mentor junior engineers, stay abreast of ML advancements, and drive continuous improvement across ML applications and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of software development and design experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with Machine Learning systems.
• 3-5 years of experience with AWS services (ECR, S3, SageMaker).
• 5+ years experience in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience building large, complex systems, especially web services and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with tree-based models, DVC, Airflow and/or SQL is nice to have.
• Strong understanding of scalable application design principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML models and algorithms to optimize operations and service delivery.

• Lead ML projects from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
• Adhere to ML best practices including evaluation, validation, and monitoring.

• Stay updated on ML advancements to inform improvements.
