Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior M365 Engineer to lead day-to-day Microsoft 365 operations for our enterprise customers. The role supports Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive, with emphasis on secure, scalable collaboration across business units.

Preferred candidates have 5+ years in MS 365 cloud engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and readiness to travel up to 10%. The position offers collaboration with Infrastructure and Service Desk teams in Daytona Beach, FL or Plano, TX.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Microsoft 365 cloud engineering experience, including expertise in Microsoft 365 messaging and Teams.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality service and customer-focused results.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel occasionally, up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Microsoft 365 and Entra ID services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, MFA, SSO, and related collaboration technologies.
• Resolve Level III incidents and service requests through ServiceNow.
• Provide subject matter expertise for Exchange Online administration, support, and troubleshooting.
• Assess technical needs, document requirements, and support the design of Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Support the evaluation, administration, and responsible adoption of AI productivity tools, including Copilot and Claude, to strengthen collaboration and efficiency.
• Prepare and deliver monthly cloud operations metrics.
• Evaluate, test, and apply critical updates on a regular basis.
• Integrate new solutions into the existing infrastructure and support deployments that meet business and technical requirements.
