Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a Studio Operations Manager to lead a dedicated Experience Studio team for a premier enterprise client. You will own resourcing, quality, and reporting across the calendar of meetings and events, and act as the daily contact for client leadership.

You will govern the program, manage staffing, and ensure schedule adherence while maintaining strong relationships with account leadership. Expertise in Cvent and enterprise tools is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate meetings and events with at least 5 years leading a dedicated client team.
• Direct leadership of 10+ planners in a client environment.
• Experience running delivery under a client statement of work with service levels and scope control.
• Portfolio scale: dozens of programs per year, budgets > $1M.
• Deep knowledge of venue sourcing, budgets, registration, onsite delivery, and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dedicated account team, including a Senior Event Producer and multiple Event Managers, with hiring and coverage responsibilities.
• Serve as the daily client contact for event leadership, communicating portfolio performance and risks.
• Own delivery against the statement of work, including service levels and budget adherence.
• Run staffing across the calendar and balance workloads with peak support as needed.
• Establish governance with Account Management including monthly and 90/180 day reviews with data.
• Own reporting on events and spend across business units.
• Set quality standards and audit contracts, savings, workflows, and on-site delivery.
• Handle escalations and provide resolutions or recommendations onsite when needed.
• Embed team in the client environment, including onboarding onto client systems and data/brand standards.
