Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel seeks an M&E Operations Manager to lead a dedicated Experience Studio team for a major client, owning staffing, quality, and reporting across the calendar of meetings and events.

You will serve as the daily client contact, manage the statement of work, governance reviews, and cost reporting, and coordinate onboarding to the client environment with a focus on delivery excellence and risk management.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in corporate meetings and events; leadership of a client team is required.
• Experience running delivery under a client statement of work, including service levels and reviews with senior client leaders.
• Portfolio scale includes dozens of programs per year with budgets above $1M and multi-day executive events.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dedicated account team and manage hiring, assignments, performance and coverage across the program calendar.
• Be the daily client contact for event leadership and provide governance with monthly reviews and business metrics.
• Own staffing, budgets, registrations, onsite delivery, and risk management for the portfolio.
