Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Associate for the Corporate Transactions Group in the United States. You will join a client-facing team delivering end-to-end M&A services, including due diligence, integration/separation planning, and value realization.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in consulting, strong analytical skills, and experience with complex M&A transactions. Travel up to 75% and a path for career development are offered in a fast-paced, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting/operational experience; Big 4/top-tier strategy firm preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong business acumen; analytical and problem-solving skills; understand impact on organization.
• Experience on complex M&A execution projects (integrations and separations) and deal work a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced environments; ability to operate under ambiguity.
• Experience in one or more industry segments (CP, Industrials, Automotive, Healthcare, etc.).
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) with senior leaders.
• Travel up to 75% and ability to work within the US.

Responsibilities

• Serve on workstreams for enterprise-wide M&A projects within project team.
• Support diligence and functional analysis for pre-signing activities.
• Help design integration/separation work plans and critical planning documents.
• Identify issues and opportunities with supporting analysis.
• Lead people initiatives such as recruiting, training, and career development.
