Job summary

Anord Mardix is seeking a Principal Engineer for LV Switchgear in the US. You will serve as the technical authority for the North American LV Switchgear portfolio, guiding product lifecycle decisions and governance across design, manufacturing, and certification.

Responsibilities include defining architecture, ensuring compliance with UL/NEC/IEEE standards, and partnering with product management to shape future platforms and technology direction for grid-to-rack power solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years in LV switchgear engineering including design, manufacturing or leadership.
• Deep expertise in UL Low Voltage Switchgear (UL 891, UL 1558).
• Proven technical leadership and ability to guide critical decisions.
• Strong systems engineering and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as Technical Authority for North American LV Switchgear portfolio.
• Own technical decisions, engineering standards, governance and product architecture.
• Ensure compliance and manage technical risk across products.
• Lead on UL, NEC, IEEE standards and certification processes.
• Provide cross-functional technical leadership with engineering, operations and suppliers.
• Define and drive product strategy and roadmaps; support grid-to-rack strategies.
