The Post Oak Hotel in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Conference Services Manager to lead luxury meetings and events, serving as the primary liaison between clients and hotel operations. You will ensure flawless execution, financial stewardship, and alignment with brand standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive hotel/event experience, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a Forbes Five-Star environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hotel-related experience or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong events experience.
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Review and understand the hotel assets and how they work together to grow business.
• Create a basic cost estimate that is updated with all changes for the program and communicate budget status.
• Manage attrition with clients and explore upgrade opportunities within budget.
• Review budget and quarterly goals and support achievement plans.
• Develop menus and agendas, issue BEOs, and coordinate with vendors to finalize programs.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and lead best-practice improvements.
• Assist teams after hours and on weekends as needed.
• Partner with senior leadership to implement process improvements to increase client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
