Job summary

The Post Oak Hotel in Houston, TX is seeking a Guest Relations Agent to deliver Forbes Five-Star guest experiences. You will greet guests, tailor pre-arrival and in-stay preferences, and coordinate with hotel teams to exceed expectations.

Ideal candidates have Front Office experience, strong computer skills, and a passion for hospitality. Multilingual ability is a plus; flexible schedules including nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Front Office Experience or equivalent.
• Excellent computer and word processing skills preferred.
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner; ensure knowledge of all hotel and daily events
• Build insightful guest profiles, collect and record all guest preference information and promote special hotel programs
• Respond and resolve guest inquiries in a prompt manner following Forbes standards
• Resolve all guest problems and complaints
• Demonstrate knowledge of hotel services, outlets information, hours of operation, policies and key personnel
• Provide relevant local recommendations based on guest preferences
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments to exceed guest expectations
• Display professional conduct and integrity
