Job summary

The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston is seeking a Senior Conference Services Manager to lead luxury meetings, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with the hotel’s brand standards.

You will coordinate client needs with hotel operations, develop menus and agendas, issue BEOs, and mentor junior staff while driving client satisfaction and operational efficiency in a Forbes Five-Star setting.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hotel-related experience or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong events experience.
• Previous hotel luxury or Forbes experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Review hotel assets to grow business and coordinate with operations.
• Create cost estimates and manage budget changes with clear communication.
• Review client attrition at all phases of planning and optimize upgrades.
• Review budgets/goals and develop action plans with leadership.
• Develop menus/agendas, issue BEOs, and coordinate with outside vendors.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and lead best-practice improvements.
• Assist team managers on after-hours or weekend programs.
• Partner with senior leadership to improve client satisfaction and efficiency.
