Qualifications

• 4–5 years of Long-Term Disability claim management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of policy provisions, medical and vocational considerations.
• Strong communication, consultation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to analyze complex or high-risk claims and recommend actions.
• Experience coaching claim professionals and improving technical capability.
• Ability to interpret data, trends, inventory indicators to identify risks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Long-Term Disability technical expert to Team Lead and professionals on complex claims.
• Provide guidance on policy interpretation, medical/vocational considerations, and next steps.
• Coach professionals through complex scenarios and provide actionable feedback.
• Analyze claim activity to identify trends, risks, and coaching opportunities.
• Monitor claim block health and support prioritization and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver technical training and knowledge sharing for the team.
• Consult on high-risk or technically complex claims with recommended approaches.
• Maintain technical resources, procedures, and best-practice guidance.
