Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee large-scale long-haul installation projects across North America. You will manage day-to-day field operations, develop detailed project plans, monitor performance, and anticipate client needs while mentoring colleagues.

This site-based role requires supervision of crews and subcontractors, with travel across multiple states on a rotation.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specs, and current practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise craft employees and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet plans, specs, and building codes.
• Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules; address delays and contribute to schedules.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Oversee financial reporting and tracking for the project.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff.
