Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on large-scale fiber installation projects across North America. You will develop comprehensive project plans, monitor performance, and mentor the field team while ensuring strict adherence to approved plans, specifications, and codes.

The role involves coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain schedules and quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
• Direct supervision of craft employees and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of aerial and underground fiber installation.
• Experience developing project plans and schedules.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet plans, specs and building codes.
• Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs.
• Review and update construction schedules and handle delays.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Manage financial reporting and project budget tracking.
• Oversee subcontractor, supplier selection and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team.
• Mentor project staff and other Superintendents.
