Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking experienced Senior Superintendents to oversee field operations on large-scale fiber installation projects across North America. You will develop project plans, monitor performance, and mentor field staff while ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to coordinate crews, subs, and suppliers on multi-site deployments. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment.
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline is an asset.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees and sub-contractors.
• Problem-solving abilities and capacity to anticipate/address issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specs, and current practices.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on large-scale fiber projects.
• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff and Superintendents.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations.
• Allocate resources and manage safety programs and quality plans.
• Ensure projects meet approved plans, codes, and specifications.
