Job summary

Capstone-Logistics, LLC in Fort Worth, TX seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead a major warehouse area. You will implement the business plan, manage staffing/scheduling, and oversee budgeting while ensuring safety, policy compliance, and high service levels.

You will train and develop associates, monitor productivity, and partner with stakeholders to optimize processes and deliver Capstone's logistics solutions with rigor and integrity.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management and leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
• The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and direct the workforce in an ever-changing warehouse environment.
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.
• Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Excellent aptitude in estimating rates and adding and subtracting mentally while constantly multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Implements the business plan for assigned area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads.
• Identifies associate, customer, and supplier concerns by listening and consulting to determine corrective action.
• Monitors and manages productivity by preparing and analyzing business reports and assisting with budget.
• Maintains quality and safety standards by training associates on policies and procedures.
• Supervises and develops associates by assigning duties, monitoring performance, and participating in hiring and coaching.
• Applies expertise to develop and implement action plans, aligning efforts with customer and business needs.
• Supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with stakeholders and adapting to changes.
