Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC seeks a Regional Director of Operations to drive end-to-end 4-wall warehouse operations across multiple sites. This role leads Site Leaders, optimizes KPIs, and ensures safety, cost control, and performance alignment with strategic goals.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in high-volume warehouse leadership, with multi-site responsibility and proven P&L management. Expect 50–75% travel to support regional operations and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse or distribution center operations with multi-site responsibility.
• Proven experience managing full-service (4-wall) warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated success leading large teams (100+ indirect reports across multiple sites).
• Must be able and willing to travel 50–75% or more if business needs demand.

Responsibilities

• Drive full ownership of 4-wall warehouse operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistent execution of receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping functions.
• Maximize operational efficiency using defined KPIs (CPH, UPH, dock-to-stock, order cycle time).
• Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy, quality control, and operational discipline across all facilities.
• Lead Site Leaders, Operations Managers, and Supervisors across the region.
• Establish and enforce SOPs and best practices across all warehouse locations.
• Own regional labor planning and staffing models to align with targets.
• Drive a safety-first culture and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and performance reviews to identify improvements.
• Manage regional P&L and cost control targets (labor, costs, margin).
• Plan and execute strategies to achieve budgeted sales, pricing, and gross margin objectives.
• Collaborate with HR on hiring, retention, performance, and workforce planning.
• Communicate and resolve escalated issues, maintaining partner relationships.
• Provide regional insights on performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data and lean methodologies.
• Support new site startups, transitions, and turnarounds as needed.
