Capstone is seeking a General Manager in Texas to lead a warehouse and distribution operation. The role requires shifting start times and weekend work based on business needs, with accountability for staffing, budgeting, and safety.

You will train and mentor warehouse staff, drive productivity, manage P&L, and provide leadership to ensure top performance across operations. Capstone emphasizes customer service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Flexible with shift start times, including weekends and holidays.
• 5 years of management and leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing warehouse environment.
• Budget management, read and interpret P&L statements, and prepare reports.
• Intermediate PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong math ability for rate estimation.

Responsibilities

• Implements the business plan for the assigned area by coordinating staffing and workloads.
• Identifies concerns and recommends corrective actions for associates, customers, and suppliers.
• Monitors productivity by analyzing reports and balancing daily deposits; assists budget management.
• Maintains quality and safety standards by training staff and enforcing policies.
• Supervises and develops associates and leaders, including hiring, coaching, and evaluation.
• Provides guidance and best practices to meet customer and business needs.
• Supports implementation of business solutions and builds stakeholder relationships.
• Models compliant behavior with company policies and ethics.
